
Olivia Clarke
British/Irish conductor Olivia Clarke, a BBC Music Magazine Rising Star, works across the UK and Europe for both opera companies and symphonic concerts. Olivia recently made debuts with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, WNO and The Royal Opera and returned to the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia, Sinfonia Smith Square, and Glyndebourne. Recently Olivia conducted Die Zauberflöte at the Royal Academy of Music and made her Aldeburgh Festival debut conducting Savitri with the Britten Sinfonia. Clarke was an English National Opera’s Mackerras Conducting Fellow (2020-2023) and Assistant Conductor to the CBSO (2022-2023). Last year Clarke made her Glyndebourne debut as conductor for Il turco in Italia for their Autumn season after being assistant conductor regularly since 2021.
