Pia Sutaria

Pia Sutaria is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music where she was a recipient of the Disney Theatrical Scholarship and is also a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance London. Most recently, Pia played the lead role Mala in the UK tour of the musical Bombay Superstar. Pia has performed in India and Internationally for over a decade and has toured internationally with Navdhara India Dance Theatre in Turkey, Israel, Canada, USA, and Japan. A soloist at the National Centre for the Performing Arts and the Royal Opera House in Mumbai, Pia has also represented global brands like Dove, Jockey, Puma, and Nike as a recognised ballerina in India. In 2018, Pia founded the Institute of Classical & Modern Dance to make vocational training for young dancers in India more accessible. The school has successfully sent students on scholarships to top arts institutions in Paris, New York, and London.
