Pim Veulings

Pim Veulings graduated with a bachelor's degree in Dance from Amsterdam University of the Arts in 2002. Engagements as a dancer took him to companies including Opera Ballet Vlaanderen and the Grand Theatre in Warsaw. In 2015, he created his first ballet, Dance of the Furies in Orpheus and Eurydice (directed by Floris Visser, Dutch Touring Opera), which was named 2015 Opera of the Year by Place de l’Opéra. He has since participated in numerous collaborations for opera, music theatre, dance and film with directors such as Pierre Audi, Evgeny Titov, Ted Huffman and Floris Visser.

Pim’s works have appeared at the Glyndebourne Festival, Zurich Opera House, Graz Opera, Frankfurt Opera, Cologne Opera, Dresden State Opera, Dutch Touring Opera, Holland Festival, Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, Ruhrtriennale, Opéra National du Rhin, Opéra de Toulon, Royal Opera of the Château de Versailles, Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia, Teatro Regio di Parma, La Monnaie in Brussels, Amsterdam National Opera & Ballet, The Royal Danish Theatre, Holland Festival and Aix-en-Provence Festival.
