Rhodri Prys Jones
Overview
Welsh tenor Rhodri is from Llanfyllin in mid-Wales.
Rhodri made his professional operatic debut in 2018 with WNO as Fyodor in War and Peace and later performed as Michelis in The Greek Passion at Opera North in 2019. His favourite operatic moment was when he made his main role debut with WNO, playing Ŝteva Buryja in Jenůfa in 2022. The following year, he made his role debut as Ernesto in Don Pasquale with Irish National Opera.
Away from WNO, Rhodri is a keen golfer, a lifelong fan of Wrexham Football Club, a husband and a father to two boys, Mabon and Ted.
