Roxana Haines

Roxana Haines is a theatre and opera director born in Bristol. Roxana studied at Goldsmiths, University of London, and received an MA in Advanced Theatre Practice from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Having trained in devised theatre, puppetry, physical theatre and movement, she has worked as an assistant director with Sir David McVicar, Katie Mitchell, John Fulljames, Phelim McDermott and Dominic Hill. She was the resident Staff Director at Scottish Opera from 2019 to 2023. Roxana's most rewarding projects have balanced therapeutic work, engagement and social change. She is currently undertaking a Dramatherapy MSc at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh.
