
Ryan Vaughan Davies
Welsh tenor Ryan Vaughan Davies studied at The Royal Academy of Music, The Royal College of Music and The Royal Northern College of Music, where he recently became an Associate Artist. In 2024 he was the winner of the Welsh Singers Competition. He is currently a Jette Parker Artist at the Royal Opera House (ROH).
Recent highlights include: Gastone/ Alfredo (cover) La traviata, Nathanael Les Contes d'Hoffmann, Borsa Rigoletto, Ruiz Il trovatore, Beppe (cover) I Pagliacci and El Remendado Carmen, all for ROH. Other roles include Tamino (cover) The Magic Flute (WNO), Peppe Pagliacci (Ilford Arts) and Prunier La Rondine (IfOpera).
Ryan has also previously appeared with Garsington Opera Festival, The Grange Festival, Longborough Opera Festival and Buxton Opera Festival, and in Japan on tour with ROH.
In concert, Ryan made his BBC Proms debut in Il tabarro and has made regular appearances in UK concert halls, including Southbank Centre, Snape Maltings, The Waterfront Hall and Wigmore Hall.
