Sarah Hemsley-Cole

Sarah trained in Stage Management at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where she is now a Fellow. Throughout her career she has remained true to her love of theatre and event production work, and has produced several significant large-scale cultural events, both in the UK and Europe. She is a much sought-after Production Manager.

Sarah formed SC Productions Ltd in 2006, building on her reputation of specialising in Site, Production, Event and Artist Liaison Management. Based in Cardiff, the Company has delivered a wide range of events from large-scale music concerts to site-specific theatre in stadiums, historic venues, fields, city centres and theatres. They have also produced many prestigious corporate and public events, with capacities ranging from 5000 to 90,000 people. The Stereophonics, Ed Sheeran and Sam Fender are some of the well-known names the Company delivers stadium shows for.

During the pandemic, Sarah produced the Opening Event for Coventry, UK City of Culture 2021, building on her portfolio of delivering major cultural events. She also led the We Make Events Cymru team, lobbied the Welsh Government and liaised with the National team to fight for an industry and the people she believes so strongly in.

Sarah is a true workaholic, constantly pushing boundaries and championing young people, diversity and women within the industry. She is the co-founder of NOWIE, a primarily online forum for Women working in the Event Industry.

Away from work, Sarah loves having adventures with her wife and their two rescue dogs.
