Shannon McAvoy

Shannon McAvoy is an American performer based in London. From a young age she trained in a variety of dance styles, before studying at The Young Americans College of Performing Arts in California. She then concentrated on ballet and contemporary dance at Hubbard Street’s Lou Conte Dance Studio, Chicago, and musical theatre at Broadway Dance Center’s Professional Semester, New York City. Shannon has a wide range of professional experience in musicals, pantomimes, concert dance, six-star cruise ships, variety shows, television, film and corporate events. 

Recent credits include Saul (Glyndebourne Opera), The Little Mermaid and Cinderella (Newcastle Theatre Royal), Graziella West Side Story, Ensemble Mary Poppins, The Evil Stepmother Snow White: Reimagined, Jack and the Beanstalk (Birmingham Hippodrome) and Jingle Bell Christmas (Barbican Theatre).
