
Sirena Tocco
Born in Iran, Sirena is an Armenian-Assyrian Choreographer who trained at the Iranian National Ballet Academy. Sirena has worked as dancer and actor with many major UK opera companies including the Royal Opera, English National Opera, Welsh National Opera, Opera North and Glyndebourne. Abroad, she has worked with Opéra de Lille, Opéra de Champs Elyse and Dijon, Ópera de Oviedo, Houston Grand Opera, Opera Ballet Vlaanderen and Grand Théâtre de Genève. As a revival choreographer, Sirena has worked with the ROH, ENO, Guangzhou Opera and Göteborg Opera. She has performed with Gecko Theatre at the Edinburgh International Festival, Colombia, Brazil and on their national tour.
Recent engagements:Salome and Othello (Royal Opera House); Ethel Smyth’s The Wreckers (Glyndebourne).
