Stephanie is a qualified accountant and has over 25 years’ experience of working in the public sector or not for profit organisations, having worked in the health, police, further education, and housing sectors before joining Welsh National Opera as the Executive Director in November 2022.
She has experience of leading on all strategic, corporate and operational aspects of financial accounting and planning, treasury management, risk and assurance, procurement, insurance, digital and data services. Stephanie has also been a sponsor of a large-scale culture change programme and lead on a new way of working programme, which included developing new values and an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategy.
Stephanie is passionate about working in an organisation that provides opportunities for individuals to improve their health and wellbeing through access to good arts provision. She is very excited about embracing all the work of WNO and experiencing the benefits of opera through performances and community engagement.
