
Tash Chu
Tash trained at Central School of Ballet, graduating in 2018 with a BA(Hons) in Professional Dance and performance. She made her professional debut as a dancer with Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures, performing Romeo and Juliet. She has since danced with Ballet Cymru and worked as a freelancer with choreographers including Roisin Whelan, Arielle Smith, Marcus J Willis, Liam Riddick and Gemma Payne. Most recently, she performed in a new production of The Wreckers at Glyndebourne Festival Opera. In 2020, Tash returned to CSB to complete her Masters in Choreography. She was selected as one of three female choreographers to create a short dance film for the Adventures in Film project with New Adventures (2020). Her choreography has featured in various collaborations, on digital platforms and on stage including with CSB and Royal College of Music (2021), Soumik Datta Arts (Silent Spaces, 2021) and Ballet Central (2019)
