Teresa Riveiro Böhm
Austrian-Spanish conductor Teresa Riveiro Böhm studied Orchestral Conducting at the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna (MDW) and at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne. After two years as Leverhulme Conducting Fellow with the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland from 2019 to 2021, Teresa was Associate Conductor at Welsh National Opera and Barcelona Symphony Orchestra for the 2022/2023 Season. The winner of the Neeme-Järvi-Prize at the Gstaad Menuhin Festival in 2019, she has gained significant experience conducting orchestras and opera throughout Europe and Australia. The 2023/2024 Season has seen Teresa make her Sydney Opera House debut, where she led Opera Australia in a new production of The Magic Flute following her acclaimed debut with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra in October 2022. Other highlights include debuts with Lucerne Opera and the Spanish Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra.
