Thomas Mottershead
Thomas Mottershead is an award-winning conductor, tenor and pianist. He has a BMus from Cardiff University, an MMus in Choral Conducting from Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and a PGCE in Secondary Music from University of Cambridge. Thomas has much experience working with orchestras and choirs and has studied with many conductors. He is involved with several choirs, including his own choir, the Prometheus Consort, as well as being a singer with the Llandaff Cathedral Choir, having performed numerous times for the BBC. Previous concerts include conducting The Marriage of Figaro with Cardiff Opera and a concert of Vaughan Williams and Parry with Cardiff Bach Choir. Future engagements include conducting Verdi’s Macbeth with Cardiff Opera (which he co-founded). He will also be an Animateur for Blaze of Glory! with Welsh National Opera
