Tichina Vaughn
American mezzo-soprano Tichina Vaughn gained her BA in Vocal Performance at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and began her operatic career as a member of the Metropolitan Opera’s Lindemann Young Artist Programme. Tichina serves as Associate Professor of Music in voice at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Awards include the 2021 Grammy Award for Porgy and Bess (Metropolitan Opera).
