Timothy Morgan

A member of the tenth edition of Les Arts Florissants’ Jardin des Voix, Tim Morgan is a Samling artist and a former finalist of the 2019 Kathleen Ferrier Awards. In 2023 he was honoured to sing at the coronation of King Charles III with the Monteverdi Choir and Sir John Eliot Gardiner. Concert engagements include Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater (OAE), Purcell’s King Arthur (Vox Luminis), Handel’s Dixit Dominus (La Nuova Musica). Tim has also recorded for numerous contemporary music projects including the 2023 film Saltburn, Young-Jun Tak’s Wohin? and PJ Harvey’s I Inside the Old Year Dying.

Recent engagements: Armindo Partenope (Les Arts Florisants); title roles in Amadigi di Gaula and Giulio Cesare and Ottone Agrippina (English Touring Opera); Samuel Adams’s play Gabriel (The English Concert); Oberon A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Nevill Holt Opera) and Cupid Venus and Adonis (The Dunedin Consort).
