Tom Scutt

Tom's work as Set Designer, Costume Designer and Director spans live music, theatre, opera, dance, fashion and exhibition. Amongst his collaborators are Alexander McQueen, Pet Shop Boys, Christine and the Queens, Sam Smith, MTV and The V&A Museum. Over the last eighteen years his designs have appeared on Broadway and the West End, as well as at The Metropolitan Opera House, Royal Danish Opera, Greek National Opera, The Royal Opera House, National Theatre and RSC, amongst others.

Tom’s awards include: Olivier Award Best Set Design 2025 for Fiddler On The Roof; Tony Award Best Scenic Design of a Musical 2024 for Cabaret (Kit Kat Club, New York); Evening Standard Award and Critics Circle Award Best Design 2022 for Cabaret (Kit Kat Club, London); Critics Circle Award Best Design 2019 for A Very Expensive Poison. He has also received several award nominations for Costume Design, along with a 2019 Best Director nomination for Berberian Sound Studio (Donmar Warehouse).
