Xavier Boyer

Xavier Boyer's expertise spans from sound to photography and video. As a sound engineer, he has worked in opera houses, namely for Peter Etvös, Heiner Goebbels, Kahia Saariaho, Thierry Escaich and Pascal Dussapin. He ventured into video through other opera projects with Gary Hill, Alex Olé, and Grégoire Pont and James Bonas with whom he has worked on productions of Carmen (Lille), L'Enfant et les sortilèges (Lyon, Dresden), L'Heure espagnole and Der Mond (Lyon), Snow Queen (Strasbourg) and Hänsel und Gretel (Cologne). Xavier also assists Grégoire Pont on a live-illustrated symphony concert: Our Precious Planet (Barbican Centre/BBC Symphony Orchestra; National Concert Hall Dublin/National Symphony Orchestra Ireland; and soon Ploiești Philharmonic Orchestra/George Enescu International Festival).
