WNO Friends branches

As well as our opera productions and youth and community activities, WNO supporters are also welcome to attend events organised by WNO Friends branches.

There are five Friends branches around Wales and England with a wide variety of events taking place all year round. Get in touch with your local branch to see what’s happening in your area…


Bristol & West of England Friends

Charles Mackerras was closely associated with WNO for more than 60 years. His daughter Cathy and biographer Nigel Simione celebrate his work with reminiscences and rare recordings.

David Bednall takes us on an exploration of Richard Wagner, one of the most important cultural figures of our time.
