Welsh National Opera shares the power of live opera with audiences and communities across Wales and England – in theatres, in neighbourhoods and online.
We are currently seeking for a Project Assistant to provide a range of project management, coordination and communication and on the ground providing community and logistical support to the Programmes and Engagement Producer in the North Wales Hub. As well as Project managing special projects in Southampton with schools and community groups working closely with the Mayflower theatre as and when needed.
You will be based in Based in Venue Cymru, Llandudno and will be required to travel to the Cardiff Office once a month for team and company meetings.
The ideal candidate must have some experience working in the arts or in community focused organisations relevant experience within a professional arts organisation and knowledge of the North Wales community and participatory arts scene. The ability to deal with and communicate effectively at all levels and with different groups including community groups and schools.
The ability to speak and write in Welsh is essential for this role.
