WNO Britten Group

Over the next two years WNO will stage two new productions of operas by Benjamin Britten: Death in Venice directed by Olivia Fuchs (2024) and Peter Grimes conducted by Tomáš Hanus (2025).

There is a significant financial investment in staging and touring these operas. With this in mind, we have formed a Britten Group with the aim of raising at least £100,000 towards the production costs. We would love you to join us in staging these interesting and challenging works.

To become part of the Britten Group, we are seeking donations of £3,500 and above for each production or £6,000 to cover both (which can be made over three financial years). There are also opportunities for role support.
